CITIZENSHIP IN A LIBERAL SOCIETY
Because you live in a liberal society, you need to be aware of what your rights and responsibilities are. But there are legal responsibilities and there are also roles expected from us because of common norms or individual interpretations of those legal responsibilities (because, of course, a liberal society supports pluralism, which means there are many interpretations of what it means to be a citizen). This unit will look at actions YOU can take, and question whether or not you should be required to take action.
